SAMRFP (“we,” “us,” or “our”) helps small businesses find relevant federal contract opportunities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address. Required to send your daily or weekly digest. This is the only piece of information you must provide.
- Profile information. Optional details you share during onboarding, such as your business description, certifications (e.g., WOSB, 8(a), SDVOSB), keywords, revenue range, geography, clearance status, and subcontracting preferences.
- Email interaction data. We record when a digest is opened, which links are clicked, and thumbs-up/thumbs-down ratings so we can measure and improve match quality.
- Reply content. If you reply to a digest email, we process the reply text to continue the conversation and refine your matches.
- Technical data. We use product analytics (PostHog) to understand how visitors use the website. This may include anonymized page views, clicks, and device/browser information.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and send personalized contract-match digests.
- To improve our matching algorithm using your feedback and interactions.
- To respond to replies and questions you send us.
- To monitor email deliverability and suppress addresses that bounce or complain.
- To detect abuse and protect the service.
3. Data Storage and Security
We store data in AWS (DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, SES) in the us-east-1 region. We use encryption at rest where AWS provides it, and we transmit data over HTTPS/TLS. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third-Party Services
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): cloud infrastructure and email delivery.
- PostHog: product analytics. Data is sent to PostHog’s US infrastructure.
- OpenAI / AWS Bedrock: used to enrich bid data and interpret your profile; personal data is shared only as needed to generate matches.
5. Your Choices
- Unsubscribe: every digest email includes an unsubscribe link. Clicking it immediately stops digest emails.
- Update profile: reply to any digest or contact us to change your preferences.
- Delete data: email us at samrfp@samrfp.com and we will delete your profile and email address.
6. Cookies and Tracking
Our marketing site uses PostHog for analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block analytics via your browser or an ad blocker.
7. Children’s Privacy
SAMRFP is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page reflects the latest version.
